Unfortunately the Victorian Government as we can all see now have not implemented the system well in the slightest. Mucking up about every angle they possibly could. Yeah I think this is easily going to be the killer. I read today that they’re hoping initially people will bring their own helmets. If you had your own helmet wouldn’t you just ride your own bike?

Is there a public liability waiver one enters into if you hire one of these bikes and the brakes ect fail and you are injured? Why does the name Slater and Gordon keep flashing in front of me rather than a stop sign?

Being the RACV I’m sure they would. It’s an interesting point seeing as unless you have bicycle insurance on your own bike you’ve got to take civil action against someone to claim for damages. This is if they don’t run/drive off before you recover.
