Just to let you know, there are plenty of options in using the MiniNova Feeds. For example if you use:

http://www.mininova.org/rss.xml?user=EZTV&num=50&direct

It will contain a feed that shows the last 50 items and will provide DIRECT links to the .torrent files.

There was a few reasons for why it was shut down, i let people think up their own reasons though, i find it more enjoyable. if you really must know why, I have posted it up once on the ezsports website forums.

Weren’t the EZTV forums shut down because instead of commenting on releases people were just using them to bitch about EZTV, spread misinformation about releases and abuse eachother?

Well well well, the all mighty admin has risen. The forums have been down for an entire year now. What got your panties in a bunch that made you shut the eztv forums down. Bring them back up already, don’t let the majority suffer for the few bad apples.

Thanks for the tip Marrk, I’m not to keen on using Pirate Bay’s 10 item feeds so will be good to have a 20 item feed again for VTV.

Just wanted to let you know that this blog tells you how to get mininova feeds working with RSS.

Enter direct option. You simply pass it on to a mininova RSS URL, just as any other URL option by tacking on “&direct” (without quotes) after the original URL. It is described on mininova’s blog, but that post doesn’t show up when searching on Google for solutions to this problem. I’m doubting this will either, but at least I have a placeholder for future reference for myself.

Utorrent reads the feeds correctly and with filters set up from the old tvRSS.net feeds works like a charm.

edit: VTV works, seems EZTV is linking to txt files.

edit2: Use the BT-Chat RSS feed for EZTV and VTV Mininova feed. I’ve updated the main article to reflect this.

Looks like the eztv feed on mininova just gets txt files now, these apparantly contain the url of where to get the actual torrent.
