Just using that as an example as it was approx that for 45 min of Gossip girl but seeing as though I could buy the whole series for about $50 brand new on DVD or wait 3-6months to buy it for $30 D/Loading seemed to be a waste. these days i really only use the inet for FB or Oz and WP... I'll D/L maybe 5 music tracks a month (which i pay for thru iTunes) Prepaid does seem to be more expensive in the long run (Seeing as tho with my crazy john's $30 will pay for 1.5GB compared to optus/vodaphone $30 for 1GB considering with DODO i can get a laptop and 2GB for $39.95) atleast i won't be hit with overload fee's (which my step daughter did, $40 in a fortnight on MySpace with my plan bigpond Acct)plus my 4yr old knows how to connect everything so i find alot of nick Jr and Cartoon Network on my comp...Prepaid may not work for everyone but it does for me when it comes to kids...

If you were downloading 1gb per episode series (aren't they usually 700mb?) regularly wouldn't this become a pain? I'm not a big fan of quotas period but it seems Australia is stuck with them for now.

I remember the good old days of unlimited Dodo broadband before all the throttling and speed problems, was with them for 5 years but never again after those last few months.

And this is why I use Prepaid Wireless. At least I know I'll never get hit w Overload fee's, I know that if I were to download a episode of a hour long series it's going to be approx 1GB the minute the download hits that limit the download pauses and the internet redirects to my ISP so I can recharge...
