Aaron Saxton is an ex-Scientologist and was one of the people who contacted Australian Senator Nick Xenophon over his experience as a Sea Org Scientology member.

I just finished watching the interview (68 minutes in length) he published to Youtube on the 18th November and I haven’t been so moved and made angry in a while.

Regular readers of OzSoapbox know I like to pick apart things and analyse them, this interview is so powerful and disturbing in its portrayal of Scientology I thought it more then stood up to scrutiny on its own. With that in mind I’ll step aside. There’s 7 parts in total, viewable sequentially below.

Admittedly I don’t know what half that stuff is but I think it’s great that someone (an Australian nonetheless) is speaking out about Scientology with stunning credibility. I only hope Saxton has psychologically braced himself for the inevitable public leak of his audit file.

I was disappointed to read this morning that the Liberal party were reluctant to support Xenophon’s push for a Senate enquiry into Scientology.

After watching Saxon’s interview I’m left asking myself why? For how long are we as a nation going to tolerate and indirectly endorse this organisation operating here?
