I suppose you’d wholly support the two nutjobs who decided it’d be a good idea to dress the six year old male child under their foster care as a girl and publish the photos on Facebook in some sort of misguided political statement then?

The gender lines need to be drawn somewhere. Erode the races fine… but gender? That’s only setting us up for a whole world of trouble.

Well following this case, in WA at least the current legal threshold would appear to be ‘Hi I got my breasts removed and I promise to take testosterone pills for the rest of my natural life’.

Not sure if this is nationally binding.

The whole article is about how it impacts him you clown - it's called an 'opinion' (fancy finding one of those on a blog with 'soapbox' in the title). To everyone else paying attention I have a question. If I have gender reassignment surgery, what am I classified as legally? Perhaps any lawyers out there might chime in, but does the classification depend on my intent? It can't be based on a physical attribute as this case now proves. What is the current legal threshold for gender?

I thought the argument was so obvious I didn’t bother to focus on it. I’m appalled at the disregard of one of the symbolic and prominant male features in classifying someone as male.

How does it impact me? Well how stupid is it now that I’m competing against vagina men at bars now?

What if one of them entered a male cooking and cleaning competition I was in, talk about unfair advantages geez.

If you have a penis you’re a guy, if you have a vagina you’re a female. End of story.

Stupid legal legislation like this just blurs the lines and opens up a can of societal worms the rest of us have to deal with. I have no problems with women living as men or men living as women or people having operations done to change genders, but just taking a testosterone pill and leaving your vagina intact should never have been enough to legally declare someone a male.

Well that’s until they want kids. Then these women will just stop taking their testosteron pills and conceive. If anyone questions their ations they’ll just harp on about how it’s a mans right to bear children.

Currently the systems just taken them on their word that they won’t ever stop taking their pills. Bulletproof much?
