200+ Taiwanese women willingly give man nude photos

So you’re browsing around the internet… doing what you normally do. Checking the news, a little bit of Facebook (or Google+ if you’re a hipster), watching some YouTube… etc.
All of a sudden your email notification starts beeping and before you know it you’re staring at your inbox wondering what to do.
Somebody you’ve never met before has just contacted you and claims to be ‘participating in a body arts evaluation‘ and needs ‘to compile a portfolio for the evaluation’.
Do you
a. mark the email as spam and tighten up your email security?
b. delete the email and get on with your day or
c. give the anonymous sender complete access to your online archive of nudie pics?
If you’re one of over two hundred Taiwanese woman, the answer is of course – ‘c’.
So the story goes, 25 year old real estate agent “Chang” had been contacting random women since 2007 when he was in college and requesting their photos.
Posing as a lesbian photographer, Chang (who worked in a girls high school after college) told women he was a lesbian photographer and gained access to their photos.
After gaining access, Chang then published them online. He was caught
when a teacher doubling as a model in Hsinchu happened to spot some of her personal photos while browsing the Internet and reported it to the police.
“Thoroughly” investigating the case I’m sure, thus far police have only been able to track down around ten of the women Chang has photos of.
Police sorted through the photos and concluded that they were taken by the women themselves, shot by the women’s boyfriends or by professional photographers at the women’s residences, motels, or even outside in nature.
Out of the ten, four ran off screaming whilst the other six were happy to receive the attention informed police that ‘they intended to bring charges against Chang and ask for reparation‘.
At least one of the women doesn’t care. She refused to make a statement to police or press charges. She claims that she has ‘a good figure, that’s why people want to see it and share the photos.’
Apparently so long as you’ve got a good figure, there’s nothing wrong with obtaining nudes via deception then. No worries.
I think what’s most worrying about this case is that it went on for so long, and involved so many women. Not only that, but Chang’s haul totalled over 8 gigabytes of photos by the time he caught.
The article only mentions photos and whilst yes, a lot of them could be large in size high quality photos – the fact they were taken from online archives means they probably weren’t. Regardless, that’s still a hell of a big porn haul.
It’d be interesting to find out exactly how succesful this ‘I’m some random lesbian photographer you’ve never met before, now hand over your nudes’ tactic was. 200 women over four years is roughly 4 women a month which is one a week.
Are Taiwanese women really that stupidly gullible or is there just some online treasure trove of Taiwanese cybersluts with the IQ of a toenail that I don’t know about?

Maybe some of the same women were fooled in this scam a couple years back:

Ok while I find this to be odd to get 200 gals to give up nude pics, I can see it happening with the number of women going into their 30s who have next to 0 real world experience because everything is dictated by mom and dad.
But 100 getting tricked into sex seems stupid. Whats your pick up line on this: ok take off your clothes, good lay down spred your legs now i’m going to put my wang in you but its not really sex because i’m gay. WTF.

Ok. Got over the great wall to read this one. This line is even more stupid to fall for than what I thought.
I love Taiwanese women’s naive mind set most of the time but this is too much. Its like falling for a Nigerian prince left you all his money scam.

“Are Taiwanese women really that stupidly gullible..”
“I love Taiwanese women’s naive mind set..”
There are just as many classy intelligent women as gullible naive women in every country. Don’t think this is a phenomenon existing exclusively in Taiwan. Also don’t think this particular group of 200+ women represents the entire Taiwan female population

Come on OzBoy, it’s not porn if they are only nude photos, and what these women did doesn’t make them cybersluts.
Unless they sent him photos of themselves with huge phalluses embedded in each orifice, ending up covered in a white gooey liquid, a la Japanese bukkake, which they wouldn’t have done, seeing as how they were supposedly sending them to some dyke photographer.
You come across as very prudish at times, and naive also.
So they were silly, big deal. I’m glad at least one of them didn’t run squealingto the authorities, citing the horror of it all, the shame blahblahblah, being quite proud of her body.
Just love me those Asians, especially in schoolgirl outfit with pigtails.

@Todd & Chububobcat
Sometimes I regret not following Taiwan’s news earlier… especially when you’ve got utterly bombastically stupid stories like that one
.
@11,500,000minus200
Settle down there precious, nobody said all Taiwanese women were… the question merely was asked in general.
It’s a factual statement, unless of course 100% of the women weren’t Taiwanese.
@PeterF57
Giving their nude photos to some random over the internet…?
Yeah it does.
Regaring whether it’s porn or not, if they’re nudes I believe it’d fall explicitly into the softcore category.
That’s if we’re going to get scientific about it. Then again cmon, ‘lesbian photographer’? There’s nothing scientific about that.

Yes Ozboy, my diagnosis was correct. You are a prude.
February 11th, 2012 at 10:32 am ozsoapbox(Quote)
How so?
The act of having the photos isn’t negative, it’s the fact that they so willingly gave them up (they were password protected and private).
You seem to be making the negative connotation between having the photos displaying them online.

Most of those pics probably were not exactly nude pictures: “The photos depicted the victims’ curvaceous forms or, in more hardcore cases, the breasts and genitalia, the police said.” Breast only in the “more hardcore cases.”

Yeah, photos of breasts in Taiwan are “hardcore”.
…hardcore what exactly?

‘restaurant is not allowed in passage of the residential neighborhood with less than 8 meters’ wide’, this is the code, certain parts of the shida nightmarket are residential with 6 meters wide, so it’s illegal to run restaurant there.
many main roads in taipei are not wide, but they aren’t residential passages, so it’s ok if u want to run a pawn or porn shop, not just a restaurant.
many i know r wondering if there is aim to kill off the nightmarket by ratcheting up the noose, squeezing a bit here, a bit there.
but look at it from the side of the local residents upfloors? nightmarket brings noises, trash, if nightmarket is gone? there will be less noise, especially after midnight, safer with fewer drunken drivers passing by, and u don’t have to cope with the noises from people and motorbikes,
also it’s foul exhausts, not to mention these dirty airs from various foods selling downstairs wafting into ur house while the family is having the precious moments together.
February 13th, 2012 at 10:01 am ozsoapbox(Quote)
Yeah but unless they’ve been living there since the late eighties when Shida started, they don’t have a leg to stand on complaint wise.
And if they did live there before, why wait 25 years before complaining?
You don’t just wake up one day after 2 decades and decide you’ve had enough with the nightmarket…

Who said you were my precious? Demonstrating your wonderful grasp of the English language you’ve misunderstood the context within which is was used.
You are precious, as evidenced by the rest of your reply.
(For anyone reading not in Taiwan – yes there are actually Taiwanese people like this that you run into on a day-to-day basis, it’s hilarious).

ausGeoff,
Sorry mate, I only used those images of huge phalluses embedded in all orifices to help our prudish blog host, young OzBoy, differentiate between porn and ordinary naked women.
I’ve never classed naked women as porn. If it was then lots of movies on Movie World would be classified as porn.
And speaking of Asian women, I’m taking 2 months off from my very taxing full-time caring duties, heading to Thailand and Cambodia.
Anybody know of things to do in Phuket? I will take a boat to Phi Phi and maybe do a white water rafting trip, take the moped inland and find some other beaches as I believe the one where I am staying, Patong, is pretty ordinary.
And before you lot start thinking that I am staying in Patong because it is the whore and katoey area, that is incorrect. I am staying there because I scored a great hotel (from the reviews I read and the photos) for under $30.
Oh alright, I will probably partake of a couple of those lovelies, or three of four. I’ve been stocking up on dingers from the hospital. I think they have a pile there for the blackfellas in town, as venereal diseases might be running rampant, but as I pay more taxes than most of that lot, well, what’s theirs is mine and all that.

Nude photos of 200+ women isn’t really a large collection. Just ask any professional photographer who takes them…
I, for one, will be happy to answer. LOL

Not a bad haul for someone just going around the internet telling people he’s a lesbian photographer though…
