The tissue Mini
Minis tend to pop up in all sorts of unusual places in Taiwan. Try to catch them as I may, it’s still not all that unusual for them to disappear as fast as they appeared before I’ve managed to snap them.
Just the other day I was chasing a Mini down as fast as I could down the streets of Taipei before it leered right and went up an expressway lane, out of sight.
For each and every Mini that gets away though, there’s always another one just around the corner.
I was sitting in the passenger seat of a car when I saw this particular one and, whipping out my camera is was evidently clear he wasn’t going to get away from me.

My girlfriend tells me it’s from an emissions testing center in Jhunan Township, Miaoli County.

I’m Not too sure why they’re using a Mini picture or whether it’s in any way symbolic… but hey, I’ll take Taiwan’s Mini’s any which way I find them.
